THE NEWEST CULINARY AND TRAVEL MAGAZINE SHARES A PREVIEW OF ITS EXCITING FUTURE.
On a spirited note, Taste, Travel & Trends magazine hosted cocktails to preview their maiden issue appearing this month. The chosen venue was The Wine Museum in Pasay City, nominated in 2012 for Manila’s Best Kept Restaurant Secret Award “Best Enoteca”. The event was sponsored together
with The Wine Museum, Philippine Wine Merchants and S&L Fine Foods, along with other co-sponsors Shakey’s, Dunkin Donuts, Project Pie, Sunny Bakeshop, Mix Plant and Bakemasters Inc.
There were animated exchanges over the new publicationamong guests present from related industries. In full force from the culinary and F&B world were Chef Philip Golding, Chef George Lizares, Ginny Roces de Guzman and Ralph Joseph. From the media, arts and educational sector were Larry Leviste, Frannie Jacinto, Neal Oshima, Lyca Benitez-Brown, Maricar de Ocampo, Kritzia Lacson Santos, Jia Santos and Gina Montinola. From hospitality and tourism were Bobby Joseph, DOT’s Joselito V Gregorio and Miren Lopez Zayco.
Other business colleagues and tastemakers joined the affair to wish the publishers good luck: Leo Dominguez, Bonita Chuang, Corina Kalaw, Chiaty Ty, Betty Lalana, Basil Ong, Oscar Ong, Louie Lim, Natalia Jacinto and Rafa Joseph.
During the evening, guests sampled pouring wines from Philippine Wine Merchants’ exclusive brand Montes Premium Wines from Chile. S&L Fine Foods provided French Coeur de Leon Brie, Dutch Blue Goat Cheese and English Red Leicester cheeses. Surprise appetizers were prepared by the Wine Museum kitchen and Chef Golding’s culinary team.
Mid-stream through the event, the audience was treated to a video preview of the magazine. Cheers and a toast with French Marguet Champagne followed. Taste, Travel & Trends Magazine grab bags containing the press release, a CD with the video clip, logo pen and an engraved cheese board were the guests.
